Grand Cayman Travelers – Note a Venue Change

Note to family and friends traveling to Grand Cayman:

Please see the Ceremony page, as there has been a change to the location of the wedding ceremony and cocktail/dinner reception.

Island update: it survived!

Just to update everyone, in case you haven’t been following: the island of Grand Cayman survived Hurricane Gustav with fairly minimal damage. We have been in contact with people down there, and there doesn’t seem to be any issue. So, no worries!

Jenny and I (OK, mostly Jenny) are still nailing down our itinerary, but stay tuned, as we hope to have more info soon.

If you are heading to the ceremony, buy travel insurance! I assume the wedding planner left the island, so I will update on the condition of things at Grand Cayman next week.

Progress…

Hello. Aaron, Roxi and I have settled into our new home in St Louis Park (Thanks to James & Andy for helping with the heavy lifting last month!). The softened economy is not doing us many favors, but on the plus side, work froze any non-essential business travel, so I have been home all month and able to really settle in.

Now that the move is complete , we are getting back into ‘planning mode’. The major plans are set, but there are many details to settle on. We have quite a day planned; it will be beautiful.

Here is a tip for you Grand Cayman-goers from the midwest: Spring/Summer clothes are on sale now, and will be long gone in another month. There is no better time than the present to pick up a new pair of sandals and a couple cool articles of clothing for your trip.

The “Ceremony” page above contains details to help with travel planning. Take a look.

Getting on with it…

Hi all, thought we’d update you on our goings-on. The wedding is coming along pretty well, thanks to Jenny. Our travel and accommodations are booked, so there’s no going back now! We’ll be getting married at sunset on 7 Mile Beach (literally, on the beach); it doesn’t get much better than that.

We’ve been extra busy with moving into our new house, which we’ll be doing June 1st. But, we’ll be sending out more info as soon as we can. Hopefully we’ll get some pictures up soon, too.

Welcome!

Welcome to Jenny and Aaron’s wedding site! Stay tuned for more info!
